Multidisciplinary designer Irina Flore is embarking on a collaborative project entitled Remix Maison with purpose-led footwear brand, Native Shoes and its proprietary material: Native Shoes Remix™. The artist and brand have partnered to design and develop sculptural furniture made with materials created from reclaimed and repurposed footwear. The collection features eye-catching designs that reflect the present and future way of living, while questioning one’s everyday actions and needs.

Both environmentally conscious and practical, Flore and Native Shoes’ first Remix Maison designs are sculptural benches designed for an entryway and built to serve multiple functions: a seat, a tray area for small items, a shoe holder, or a coat hanger. These sculptures’ various forms are inspired by Flore’s conceptual drawings and their functions fluctuate slightly from one design to another.
The materials and their locality define this project. Native Shoes Remix™ is locally fabricated in Vancouver BC, with materials that can be repeatedly repurposed into new objects. Circular in nature, this recycling process and resulting project bring awareness to the fact that each reclaimed shoe can become a piece of art, rather than waste.

The aim of this collections is to pay tribute to the elegance and mastership of Venetian artisanal crafting, where colors and shapes, old techniques and new designs meet to enhance Italian arts and its rich history.
The beautiful Venetian water wells were the first creative inspiration, vessel’s details and different shapes you meet in every “campo” – field/ plaza in Venice suggested different stories to develop sculptural candles design.
Irina Flore’s Designs manipulates light and form in order to enhance the experience of lighting candles. Thick, subtly toned glass rises to original shapes, offering a multitude of shades and lights to be brought to life by the flame within – it's as much a visual experience as an olfactory one.
Each eco- conscious candle is “ one -of -a kind” in a contemporary look, AINA KARI is focused on art – a consumable with a creative- first approach that combines the Italian original design and heritage in a modern key.
The 4 collections of Commedia dell’ Arte Trilogy are creating a fascinating journey back in time, enjoying an evening out at the theater, when emancipated women showed their talent to prestigious stages and masks were the symbol of creativity and playfulness.

AINA KARI PALISANDRO CANDLES
Palissandro marble is a stone of extraordinary beauty. Its highly pure material is dotted by minuscule bright crystals which shine like a shower of diamonds. This wonderful marble only comes from the Crevola quarry, an age-old deposit in the heart of the Ossola Valley.

KUVIO WALL LAMP
Working with light, colors and patterns.
This object is inspired by the technique often used in photography “think inside the box,” the frame that attracts attention; with a very simple geometric form, that allows us to highlight something. This wall lamp allows us to observe the transformation of an object with the use of light.
A patterned shadow, inspired by our environment and only visible when the lamp is lit, is cast onto the wall behind it.
This project is part of a collection of three poetic objects, inspired by nature, that will highlight the light, the perception of color and the reflection of light. Pause and reflect.
The purpose is to highlight and celebrate the essential things of life, in this case the light. Things like shadow, color or light reflection for example, might not exist for us if the light did not allow it
